WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED VS. CERTIFIED SELECT?
Both Nissan Certified Pre-Owned and Certified Select vehicle options undergo a rigorous certification and reconditioning process to ensure they're road-ready. Certified Pre-Owned warranties can also offer peace of mind after your initial purchase. Additionally, each Certified Pre-Owned Nissan comes with a CARFAX® Vehicle History Report, a guaranteed trade-in and 24/7 roadside assistance.
When you look to finance a Nissan Certified Pre-Owned model, the vehicle undergoes a thorough inspection.
To qualify as a Certified Pre-Owned Nissan, a vehicle must meet the following requirements:
- Be less than six years old
- Have fewer than 80,000 miles on the odometer
- Pass a 167-point inspection process
To qualify as a Nissan Certified Select model, a vehicle must meet the following requirements:
- Vehicle can be a Nissan or off-make model
- Be less than 10 years old
- Have fewer than 100,000 miles on the odometer
Buying a Certified Select model means your choices are more expansive as the selection includes other makes and models. Both Certified Pre-Owned Nissan options come with a limited warranty. While the Nissan Certified Pre-Owned warranty can last up to seven years, Certified Select only lasts for six months or 6,000 miles.
